Rep Power: 0 Its not 10, its 18. And it stickers for 49,000 but you'll pay well over that since its new and demand is expected to be high. my dad is paying 55k. He put a deposit down on one 2 weeks ago. burgundy with the beige interior. The MDX is being traded in. If you ask me, A6's and A8's still look better.

18 mpg in city / 26 mpg on highways - from Acura.com '05 RL
Don't ferget Infiniti, which is also on par with Acura and Lexus.
It's not a 4 banger. RL never came in 4 cyl platforms. They're all V6s.

Rep Power: 0 I just went to acura's website and you can check out new pictures of the car with specs at the bottom of the home page. I attached pictures, so that you can see. And yes, the gas mileage is 18/26 mpg. The engine is a 3.5L SOHC V6. I think the RL's rear has some similarity with BMW's. And I like the more sporty projector headlights, then the old boxy design.

People buy suv's becuse you can do a lot more with them, as in carry big loads and stuff like that. Also there V8's! this is a V6. The crowd that acura is probly aiming for is 25-40 year old people, and for that much money I think that they would probly buy a car like a mercedes or BMW.

Rep Power: 0 In my opinion, the front end, especially the headlights, looks a lot like a VW passat or phaeton. And the back end looks bmw-ish.
-"I think that they would probly buy a car like a mercedes or BMW."-
Yea, but not the higher end bmw's or mercedes. The E-class comes in over/around the price of the RL and it doesnt come with nearly the amount of options that this car does, including standard AWD and satellite-linked Navigation with traffic monitoring. And I dont know what BMW 5-series go for these days, but none of them have AWD except the 3-series. The 7-series is way out of the RL price line as is the Mercedes S-class, both cars which this car is going to be competing against. An as for Audi, their A8 starts in the high 70's, only the A6 comes near the price of the RL.

Rep Power: 411 Now that I think about it, the new RL shares some body lines with the Bangle series of BMW's and the rear taillights of a Hyundai Tiburon. Side view reminds me of the 7th gen Accords.
