Does anyone know if you can put a Ex gauge cluster in a Dx? I have a dx 5 speed and there is no Tachometer. When im banging real loud its hard to feel the engine and i wanted to know if was at all possible to just swap that **** out? lemme know.. and if you know could some one help me do it. SOCAL...

Buy a TACH! U don't need one that is 5" unless you're blind as a bat in a cave. A 3.5" is just as big as the one in the cluster...yeah, I know how u feel cuz I'm tha same way but since I brought a 3.5" tach...it feels better.

those aftermarket tachs are lame though. If you saw my car youd understand that im all about clean.. Those tachs are sooo huge and
"TACH-EE" I just want a clean gauge cluster. Anyone know what i can do to get a ex tach in my dash.. can i swap out a dx gauge cluster for an ex..?

as far as I know you can swap it in and the tach will already work. The harnesses to the guage cluster should be the same dx, lx, ex

you can swap it, but make sure you find one with the same number of miles on it

This has been beat to death. You can swap it, but the millege will be what is on the gauge cluster on the ex cluster. so if you buy a new cluster it will read 0 miles. It would be better to buy a lx cluster, that way you will now have a abs light, and if you think about it the lx and dx have the same engines. I bought a new cluster for mine pluged it in and it works between 01 to 02 cluster. The newer cluster your going to have to change some wires around in order to make it work. This agian has been done by a member. I would recommend searching for dx cluster swap, or along those lines, this we site if full of information to help you out.

I did the swap too. I bought an LX cluster with miles more than my car had, and just delayed the swap until the mileages matched
