Time to sell, any tips?
The time has come to sell the vic. I'm running out of time to do any work to the car, I keep getting busier and busier and its not going to let up for a while. I'm going to take a pic and put it in the autotrader after I get it all cleaned up. Any tips on cleaning or selling a civic??

Well it's not riced out, so people will consider it with the mods on. I'm guessing the height is adjustable, cause nobody wants a car that low. Otherwise just make the car look nice and put a good description of all the features it has.

Its bagged. People will be suprised at the ride quality too, I've also got all that factory parts. Would that inspire anyone if they were a potential buyer?

Well, if it's a buyer interested in your mods. Otherwise, the average person won't care about bags and other stuff. Try to find someone who appreciates the mods first before parting out and selling as stock.

I think Gearbox has it right. Sell your car as stock. And sell your upgrades seperately. You might make more money that way. Those mods weren't cheap. I know you could get a hefty amout for such large wheels.

The only problem is I have 86K miles and that will drop the price fast if its stock. I also don't want to try to put it all back stock because for one it will take a long *** time and two I have things like an optima (traded in dead battery) and alarm that you can't just take off. If I can't find a buyer I guess I will have to try plan B and go back stock

Guess the value all depends on if someone wants what you have on. The supply on civics seems low around here too. I only saw a few in the autotrader so I'm hoping someone will jump on it. (There were a shitload of accords though) I think I have had good taste in picking mods b/c I always get compliments so maybe someone will want it the way it is for a little more.
also depends what kind of buyers your trying to attract. i know all the kids and young would love to have a bagged ride while older adults just need a car to get to point A-B. things like exhaust, lowering jobs, engine mods, etc should be sold separately.
lets say u paid 1g for the bags installed. and say someone offers 8g, without bags, his/her offer would prob be like 7.5g ($500 differ).

kids want it but wont pay for it.. i bought my car OEM in 2000 and then i buy my stuff at wholesale since i own a shop... if i were to sell my car id part it out and sell my parts seperate because then i could get 19k all together for the car./stuff instead of ....id prolly got 16 max for it together.
riley
given some people would buy. but.. oem blue sedan===50,000 people in his area who would want to purchase......keep it like it is.. and your sale audience depleats to maybe... 3-4 people...in order to sucessfully sell a car you need a large sales audience

I'm going to put it in the auto trader like it is and if its not sold in a decent time I'll work on parting it out. I really don't have time to take everything off and try to sell it all separtely so I'm hoping my depleated audience pulls through
