Why do people do this!?
Buy a brand new car for $20k or more and treat it like a $5 piece of meat? I mean you invest so much of your money and then never take care of it. This applies to civic owners as well. I see them all over filthy dirty, dented all over, scratched up and generally looking like a 10 year old car. I mean come on. There is a black acura TL in my lot that has been in the exact same spot for the last month. Covered in dirt and bird poo, just sitting there going to waste. Why even buy it if you're just gonna let it get ruined and not even drive it? Bah, people **** me off. I you don't want to take an hour to go wash it in the parking lot like I do, at least pay the lousy $5 at a car wash on the way home. Of course they can afford that.
i think this usually happens to people who lease cars rather then buying. when people lease nice cars they dont really feel the need to baby it because its not theirs..... they just want a nice looking/higher class car to get them from point A to point B without any problems and to show everyone around them that they can afford a nice car.

Rep Power: 0 Ignorance, I took care of all my cars and they always looked new. Some people just dont care, I guess money isnt an issue. My cars are the most expensive things I own so I treat them like gold!

Rep Power: 366 i take care of every care i ever owned, but my civic has gotten hella dents and scratches because i used to work for nabisco, and so i had to drive to sometimes 10 stores in 1 day, and we all know what happens in grocery parking lots no matter where you park

I kept my concorde looking pretty nice, and it was a 97 and was a POS(didnt look like one tho), mostly engine/tranny wise had a good body..

Rep Power: 0 i think people care about their cars when they first get them, then after a while don't care anymore, cuz the "new car" feeling kind of went away. Like me, i used to wash my civic and wax it and stuff a lot, now i hardly even do it! Cuz i really don't care about it that much anymore

Rep Power: 0 I know exactly what you guys mean, I see this beautiful civic parked everyday and it's coverd in dust and when you look inside you'd swear you were driving around in a garbage can with all the pop bottles and bags in the back seat!!
But I can sympathize with cars with dents/scratches. I keep my car as clean as I can (inside & out), but dents/scratches are outta my control unless I never parked my car anywhere except my driveway.

Look my exapmle, I love having my car really clean and waxed (wash it myself every week and wax it myself every 2 weeks).
I have dents in my car but IN MY CASE is because OTHER people doesn't respect people's property!! In the university, I try to park as far as I can so I don't have people hiting my car with their doors, but the parking eventually gets full and BAMM, theres always a new dent.
The last one were this old lady at the mall, I was still in my car reading a recipt for something I bought, then this lady in her Lumina parked in my right side (passenger), she opens her door but didn't hit me, then she open the rear door to look for something in the back seat and BAAAAAM, she open her door as wide as she could and hit my car!!... I thougt "FKIN' BTCH!" got out of my car but she were already walking thru the door and I could not identify her. Now my car have a REAL ugly dent on the rear pannel of the passenger side!

Rep Power: 268 damn that's f*cked up... i hate inconsiderate people... i try to park where there's no other cars around. but this isn't always possible... when i get out of my car, i always make sure i don't ding up anyone elses ride (karma) and if someone pulls up right beside me then i let them get out first while giving them the eye (the please don't f*ck my **** up or else imma have to get crazy on yo *** look) but as for taking care of my car... man i love it... i have a weekly friday ritual that consists of vaccume, wash, sometimes wax, and interior detailing... i also can't stand driving a dirt mobile.
P.S. is it me or have u noticed that 95% of the women out there use their backseat or trunks as a second closet? lol no offense to u women out there... but IMO it's mostly women who drive messy vehicles...

i try to keep it clean because its my nicest ride. i had a vw for 5 years before that, but i didn't care for it for a laundry list of reasons and let it go
as far as people with very nice spendy cars.....i don't understand why they would let them go to crap other than that they take what they have for granted.
i worked hard for my 04 coupe, so i like to baby it.

but yea i treat it real good...premium gas...basically food for car has to b at least cost more then apple bees dinner...wait ur right i dont really take very good care of it
i got lazy of vacuum'n it and washing it cuz i got a fix dent on the right passenger side

well as far as the topic goes, you cannot control other people's dumb asses to hit ur car. those people who have expensive top end cars that are dirty btw: are probably just lease so they don't give a flying fvck cuz its not theirs. most people have good up to date cars because of lease anyway. they can upgrade their car anytime because they return it and get another one. uselss IMO because you just keep on paying something that you will never own. althou ur car looks good all the time but its NOT/NEVER gonna be urs. its like putting money on the drain.
