Rep Power: 0 uhh...from what i read a while back the new supra is a) a hybrid car, b) from the pics looks ugly as hell and c) the new one is not spelled supra it Cupra for some stupid reason. I really dont think thats the new supra, but i could be wrong. to me that has no distinct features of old supras, looks like a completely different car. imo.

Rep Power: 0 Nice spoiler..mm...factory rice.
I'm sure that the cladding just makes it look ugly, I'm sure that underneath all those plastic bags is some variety of hot new Supra...

Rep Power: 0 do you realize how utterly pointless it is to comment on a spycar? Look, 96% of the car is covered by something. Every corner lens and side marker hole is cut offset to defer the actual lines of the car so people like US can't see it. No matter what it looks like there, or what you THINK you can see there, the car itself will look way diff!

a) good luck buying a ferrari for $100,000. even used that isnt getting you much without costing you more very soon ($3000 clutch every few thousand miles anyone?)
b) there is no way that spoiler is making it to production. Did anyone stop to think they are getting the right angles/surface area/shape/height/everything about it right before making the production car. Hell it could just be there to bolt on while the engineers figure what they want there, with the only purpose of keeping the car on the ground till its done.
c) if its a lexus it wont selll as much. If honda released the NSX i bet it would sell more. honda is now looking to be function over form. acura is form over function.
d) v10s do not belong in imports. With some older supras pushing 1200hp on 6 cylinders i think thats plenty for us import people. v8+ is gay

Rep Power: 0 It's going to be the Lexus "X" Series and will list around 60K. Will only come in Red or Black, no spoiler. Those are just used on track for more downforce for testing only. It looks cheesy but they do work. That one is a common universal just bolted on that day probably. They use various kinds when testing.
Um, those specs are false too. It won't be that beefy.

Who knows, 100 grand for a supercar these days is quite reasonable. Check the price of the Honda NSX its over 100 grand. They market it as acura here but its still a honda. Maybe toyota will bring it here as a lexus.
