Spycar Pics of Next Toyota Supercar |
wow, that would be sweet! |
too hard too see what it looks like with all the padding and covering but looks to have some nice potential. WTF is up with the spoiler? |
Spoiler? I thought you knew....all new cars have a new optional picnic table on their trunks... |
the next supra.. |
looks kinda like a new school supra... |
uhh...from what i read a while back the new supra is a) a hybrid car, b) from the pics looks ugly as hell and c) the new one is not spelled supra it Cupra for some stupid reason. I really dont think thats the new supra, but i could be wrong. to me that has no distinct features of old supras, looks like a completely different car. imo. |
i like it. i know its gonna come out badged as a LEXUS (high end toyota). one of their marketing ploy to raise the price tag. i like the car thou. 500 hp against 550 GT40 from ford? sup wid the 50 hp? |
looks like a car from toyota ill never own or set foot in... 500bhp v-10? cool |
fluglg |
Nice spoiler..mm...factory rice. I'm sure that the cladding just makes it look ugly, I'm sure that underneath all those plastic bags is some variety of hot new Supra... |
do you realize how utterly pointless it is to comment on a spycar? Look, 96% of the car is covered by something. Every corner lens and side marker hole is cut offset to defer the actual lines of the car so people like US can't see it. No matter what it looks like there, or what you THINK you can see there, the car itself will look way diff! |
"a price tag well over $100,000" yea... Id rather own a ferrari then a toyota. |

Also.. Thats the "prototype" car... It may not even look simular to that when its ready to be manufactured. |
Woah... I wonder whats under that A-pillar... |

definitely 99.9% assuming that its the new supra. |

Looks hot! Well I'm hoping it does...but those specs seem pretty crazy. |
a) good luck buying a ferrari for $100,000. even used that isnt getting you much without costing you more very soon ($3000 clutch every few thousand miles anyone?) b) there is no way that spoiler is making it to production. Did anyone stop to think they are getting the right angles/surface area/shape/height/everything about it right before making the production car. Hell it could just be there to bolt on while the engineers figure what they want there, with the only purpose of keeping the car on the ground till its done. c) if its a lexus it wont selll as much. If honda released the NSX i bet it would sell more. honda is now looking to be function over form. acura is form over function. d) v10s do not belong in imports. With some older supras pushing 1200hp on 6 cylinders i think thats plenty for us import people. v8+ is gay |
"spy" pics..LOl its toyota..trying to spread words of a new supercar... |
well has anyone seen the new tundra coming out..its insane...check it http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/futur...ner/index.html |
It's going to be the Lexus "X" Series and will list around 60K. Will only come in Red or Black, no spoiler. Those are just used on track for more downforce for testing only. It looks cheesy but they do work. That one is a common universal just bolted on that day probably. They use various kinds when testing. Um, those specs are false too. It won't be that beefy. :_please: |
Anyhow I like what I see. It has nice lines. |
$100,000 for a 500 Hp Toyota, no way! |
