Faking out honda dealership

Ive had my goldline springs on all summer long, and Im already starting to worry about having to replace my shocks and struts Though, Ive been thinking that- by the time my stock ones go out; I might want to trade the car in. Ive got about 42k on it now, and I have the extended 100k warranty.

Do you think I could swap me OEM shocks and camber kit back in there and fake out the dealership into replacing my struts and shocks for free?

How about faking them out with the OEM resonator in place of my intake?

The only two permanent mods I made were my side markers and my painted trim. they came out nice tho!

bleh, if i knew how much these mods would decrease the value of my car, I may not have done so many!

I bet it would work. If you put all the OEM stuff, they wouldn't know the difference.

Keet will become famous soon enough
They're not stupid, they can obviously tell you are into modding so the first thing they look for is the broken paint marks that they put on every single nut and bolt. Ofcourse some changes don't involve breaking the paint marks so I dunno in your case.

Plus (I may be the only one with this position) it's unfair to the dealership (yes I know they're rich but sill) to pay for the negative effects of you modding. In the end, it makes the price we pay for the car or the servic higher.

do it. whats the worst that can happen? youll have to pay for it? if youre so worried about the bolts etc, go to majestic honda online and order new nuts/bolts in case some of yours show that you worked on them.

the only crappy part about the whole ordeal is that you will have to keep putting different springs on and off, which is a pain.

when they appraise your car for a trade in, they don't look for that stuff. they mainly look for any paintwork that has been done. they check to make sure everythng works properly and thats about it. i don't think you'll have a problem.
