Would never get a Z.
The S2K will be my next car, though.
There's no reason to fix up a Civic if it ain't gonna be good at something. If the RSX has become a better road racer than some RWD cars, I don't see how the Civic can't earn the same title. It's the same damn car. Thus I'll take the sleeper.

Second, technically it's only illegal to put an older engine into a new car - not the other way around.
Third, if you're in Cali and want the K20A to pass smog, use the Type S ECU. With a swap, you're not going to pass visual anyway so it'd be like swapping a K20A2 when you get your car smogged.
I would go with the 350Z just because it is so slick looking. It always makes me turn my head when someone is driving one. I have a civic and love it, but if someone were to throw a Z my way, I'd take it!

type s ecu? ... it's gonna run pretty lean ... it wouldn't pass anyway because the block is stamped k20a ... also, vin #'s are different from the diff. countries, so it would be pretty hard to fool a k20a for a2 ;P

350z best car and only true sports car in my mind in that whole group. it also has the most potential.
I would get a k20a civic before I would buy an s2000 and make payments on it
any cali smog that does visual test on you lol its a ****ing bad place!!
just my .02 cents
take which ever car you can put less payments on and save up for a damn house than explode later on buy yourself something really nice.
right now you can grab a 98-00 corvette c5 with low mileage around 20 thousand miles for around 34-36 grand because the c6 is out. They are out there lots old men never drive vettes and use them as weekend cars.
hmm corvette or these cars hmmmmm!!!!
not a tough choice

I work at a Chevy dealership and drive Corvettes all the time, and they are nice and fast and all, but I love my S2000 and I would take that or a 350 over a Vette at this point in my life. The C6's are a lot nicer, but way out of range right now.

but im not racer and i'd pimp an 350z anyday. see too many s2000's compared to the Z on the streets. rather be different.
