why dont cars come with rear wipers

I was just trying to figure out why hatchbacks come with rear wiper but regular cars do not, except for the Evo.

KalliGarri is on a distinguished road
the angle the rear window is at is basicly pulling the water to the window when the cars moving because of the angle the hatch is in... atleast what i heard

Its because the air stream off the roof "wipes" the rain off the rear window on a sedan or coupe, whereas on a hatch that stream isnt there, the water just beads up.

THe Evo has it because I think just about all mitsu's have a rear wiper...

Yea I can be driving in a full storm & never have any water on the back window, its really wierd. True it would help for the dew in the morning, but the defroster takes care of that in about 30 secs. So yea not necessary.

I would like one for those rainy days and there is a whole bunch of water on the rear window. It takes freaking forever for the water to roll off.
