What car to buy?!?!?! HELP!
i need some help. im buying a new car, and i need a little advice on what to get. im not going to spend more than $18,000. i want one of the following:
2000 Honda Civic Si (blue)
2001 Acura Integra GS-R (black or white)
I think the si looks better on the outside, but the gsr has the b18, and has a nicer interior. im stuck! haha. i dont know which one i want. what do you guys think?

hmmmmm. my advice, get a brand new 05 civic coupe ex... you will be the first owner. ok, but if thats the only choice i have, i'll go with gs-r. more quicker and faster, high performance but high insurance for sure. i suppose to get a white gs-r but for some reasons, i bought a civic ex coupe. brand new baby.. can you feel.. ahahaha. thats the thought.

need some opinions.... i found a 2000 civic si, blue, with 27,000 miles, never driven in snow or rain (went and looked at it, it is definately mint) has aem cold air intake, dc sports 4-2-1 header, greddy evo catback, dc sports short shifter, kyb agx shocks with ground control coilovers, and a sony headunit. he wants 16,500 for it. is that a rip off? i figure it will save me 2 grand anyways because it has all those mods already. so thats less i have to do. blue book for it is 14,500 but it has 2k in mods. should i get it?!?! or no? it is in absolute perfect condition. it looks brand new. what you guys think?

16.5k is ALOT for a 00 si. keep in mind, aftermarket mods dont really increase the overall value of the car that much. the mods you listed would be valued up to like $500. and most likely this person abused and/or raced it somewhat. so think about its history before buying modded cars or from a young owner. i wouldn't get it
as fo gsr or new civic si, i'd take an gsr because im a fan of B series and integras in general. insurance would be cheaper and you wouldnt have to pay fees and regis. fees at the dmv for new cars. but the si is gauranteed not to have ANY problems. seems like most gsrs i seen around here are abused somewhat.
They are both hot but I Would be wary of a car that has mods already. He must be into hi performance driving, and learned on the si he wants to sell you over book value. I only paid 12K for my 04 vp coupe off the showroom floor, Its not nearly as fast but I know where its been.

18 000 why don't you just buy a new si. K series engine, newer chassis. I bet you might even end up paying less or the same for the new car if you finance the car. sometimes interest rates from the bank are higher than the one offered by the car dealers for new cars. I remember when I bought my EX coupe, that it ended up being cheaper than a used ex coupe simply because of the huge diff in interest rate.

I always wanted a Blue 2000 Si so bad forever I still do. I owned a 2001 GSR and turboed it, i loved it. I think id go with the GSR youll be alot happier its real nice to drive and you can beat it up all day. I still love the Si to death but if i did again i go GSR

it could be beat, i honestly dont think it was though. you should see how clean this thing is. the good thing is it only has like 25k miles or so. i usually dont buy modded cars, but it doesnt have any crazy mods, it only has minor boltons. i dont want a new si because i want the "real" vtec, and they look like an egg imo haha.
