Coupe Window Design Ideas
Besides being a rabid 7th generation Civic enthusiast, I am also a graphic designer. Since I have all sorts of resources at my disposal for the creation of all types of graphics and so forth, I decided to apply them to creating some custom art for my car.
What I did was, I used some translucent marker paper to trace the rear window opening on my Civic coupe, scanned it (in several pieces), and then traced that shape into Adobe Illustrator. I used that shape as a template to create these three designs that should, when cut from outdoor sign vinyl, fit perfectly into the window space.
Maybe later I'll try photoshopping the designs onto a photo of my car, but for now, here they are.
Let me know what you guys and gals think!

pretty cool, i don't know what they will look like on your car though. but if you put it on i think the last one will look the best. post pics when your done.
I drive a silver car, so I didn't want to use a color and then be stuck with that color for all of my details. I also don't want to drive a rainbow. So I did them mostly in grey so it would be neutral.

The vinyl itself is only semi-permanent so there is no problem taking it off if/when I finally get tired of it. Normally I scoff at vehicle signage, but in this case, since I'm designing it myself, I feel that it would be a proper expression of who I am. I'm not just choosing a banner out of some vinyl sign book, you know?
I would never put a big Honda "H" on my car, or anything on the windshield like "CIVIC REPREZENT" or "7THGENRICER" or the ever-popular brush script "RESPECT". Chintzy and played out.
I tried
I think his sticker isnt to exact proportions but I tried my best to get it to fit on the window. I'm not sure whos car this is I found it in the members ride. Thanks for the image hope you dont mind me borrowing it.
Here we go.
This is WatchGirlDrifT's car from the Member's Rides section (hope you don't mind!)
I modifed the design to use all white so it would match the car more and stand out--I think this might be a good idea for the final design.
