What the hell is the point in racing an automatic? "I can mash the gas harder than you!!" Unless your stiving for a 8 second quarter mile pass and having to shift a manual would actually slow you down. Thats the only reason a automatic shoud be in a performance car.

Automatics are slow and boring, i'd much rather a 5 speed civic than a automatic sports car.

ohh ya SRT-4 interior is great. The seats are great the boost guage, the pedals all laid out perfectly!!!! If it had a honda badge on it bet you would be saying its gods gift right now.

Srt-4 is a no expence purpose built racer!

i wasn't saying that racing auto is stupid or good, i was saying i dont like when people think they are the $hit because they have a manual. If ur car is fast (manual or auto) ur car is fast. I hear u on how racing a manual takes less skill then a manual. I agree 100% with that. What im saying is that its stupid for someone with say a manual civic to think their car is so fast and awesome JUST because its manual and making fun of people who drive automatic...

My dads CTS would whoop on a lot of cars I would race, regardless of manual/auto. I wish it was an auto though, cause I think it could have had a lot more potential. It shifted really bad, but still threw you in the back of your seat. He sold that for an Escalade last week, sucks.
