Project Ford Focus with 351
Check out this Ford Focus that some locals are hopping up. They put a new engine into it, new RWD, etc... Sounds like a monster!

Yes, in our vics it would so rule! I dream of a AWD or RWD vic, pull aside someone in a stang or something and rev it and they go WTF.
Dunno what they have in the cost wise but it sure sounds nice!

What? I know the guy that built this car, and he spent no where near that amount. Not even if you included the cost of buying the Focus in the first place. Ford Racing's kit is only 10k, and that is including the engine, tranny, and everything you need.
This one was mostly custom built, just using a few crossmembers and pieces from the FR kit, the rest was pieced together and custom made.

ive seen the monster focus before, its crazy. so heres what im wondering: miata guys have put a v8 in the miata..theyre working on the v10 from viper now, the focus guys did this...why isnt there ANYTHING like this that honda guys are doing?
i mean there is NO WAY that a civic engine bay is smaller than the miata one. and i think the miata still has A/C and some of the other civilized things. whats the deal?
i mean i know its nice and all to get like 400-500 hp from a 4-cylinder, but a v-8 can do SO MUCH more.
