Rep Power: 0 Well for Civics the Si has the most power stock but they are ugly now. I personally own a 2002 Civic EX Coupe fully loaded with all the options except leather and heated seats. But spoiler, 6-speaker CD, sunroof, 5-speed etc... is a very nice upgrade for me. It is a fun car to modify but unless you put turbo on it the N/A won't give out as much. People might complain about availability and range of parts for the 7th gen Civics and it is true in some sectors, but for the most part there are a lot of parts for the car.
I came from a 1994 Saturn SL1 with power nothing and no aftermarket parts. I basically made stuff fit but it did look good. So to me this is a BIG upgrade. So far I bought the car with 6k on it and it is currently at 33600 now. No problems to speak of except for a slight rattle when I make hard right turns, but I am going to have that checked out since I have a 7yr-100k bumper to bumper.

Rep Power: 428 I dont think you would have any fun modding the civic because most mods dont give you **** for HP.
Now the STI on the other hand, I think you would definetly have fun modding it. And besides on the WRX, for every $15 you spend, you get one HP. Besides, They look better too. And also since your other has an ex, might as well pick something else. And if you have the money for an STI, dont wimp out and pick a civic, get a good car. Pick the STI.

Rep Power: 244 Yeah, the STi would be awesome, but theres not much modin' u can do to it...ya know, its pretty much all set lest u get a turbo (which i have found, $950) but, iono, EternalBlue_Vic wants me to get a civic, so we can cruise together, and supe up our cars together...but yeah, im pretty set on gettin a civic, also cause an STi would cost me 40 grand, money im kindda reluctant to pay...so sum advice on what year and modle civic to get would be nice...also, what kind of mod. do u suggest???? AEM or Injen cold air intake??? i hear good things about injen...any opinions?

if u want power i would say get an LX = its cheaper.. than swap the engine for a k20 and turbo the k20... but if ur lookin to run only with a turbo get the EX - has vtec
or u could just get an Ex and get some bolt-ons on it.. wont give u much power.. but like u said it is fun to mode..
