When my roomate drives his car, he leaves his a/c on, all the time, even in winter. It could be like 40 degrees outside and he would have his a/c on then turn the temperature to maximum heat. He said the a/c makes the air quality better. I said no that doesnt do crap but waste his gas and power and his a/c would break down faster, but he wouldnt listen. When he shut the engine off, he would turn off the radio but not the a/c. Is he stupid or what?

the ac combined with the heat does actually heat the car up faster, the manual says so. however, you are right in that it wastes gas, i make my pasangers sweat cause i'd rather open the windows than use the ac.

I have to keep the AC on even in the winter or else the windows fog up & I cant see ****, pisses me off, but what are you gonna do.

also AC we have has a pollen remover...so if you have allergies in the springtime just close the windows and turn on the ac

Oh and when i drive my car and i park i turn off the a/c (if it is on) but leave the radio on and shut off the car and he would be like "what? you dont turn your radio off?!" He thinks turning off the radio is more important than turning the a/c off.
