Only thing it says on the edelbrock kit is 40-60hp. Is that a generalization?? Dosen't tell what kind of shot it is. So basically the zex is just a hook up and tunes it's self?? How did the 94 civic withstand the nitrous??? I see you didn't blow yourself up so i'm guessing pretty well. Haha.
For the Zex kit, I would not go over 55 on your cars, but the people at Zex have already tuned the ignintion timing and all that. All you have to do is "teach" it read when you are at wide open throttle, and they give really good instruction on how to do it. The best theing about the Zex kit is that you just arm it and forget about it, no button to push or anything.
As for the '94 civic, under the conditions that zex designed their kit for it ran great. I did break 2 rods, shatter three pistons and split the head open though, but I put in was probably around 150 shot in. I want to see how much the motor could take before it blew up (I had a built B16A setting at home wating for it and really had nothing for that D16 to do).

Maybe the 75 once or twice at the track just to see what times i get. My goal is for a high 14. 14 sec club!!!! So there's no throttle switch for the zex kit?? That's good, i was worried if it did i'd break it. Stomping on the gas and then "crack"....oops. Coolbeans, juice has me all excited. With the 55 shot, is there a noticeable boost of energy?? Like say ur crusing along in 2nd at around 4 grand. Then you go WOT and spray. Do ya get thrown back in your seat noticably more with nitrous at WOT than without??

But you will notice a huge difference, even with the 35 shot. If you use the 75 shot, which I do not recomend doing, make sure and use C16 gas or something along those lines to help prevent denotation. In general you should not try to push your car to more than 150% of it's factory power ratings, and a 75 shot does that.

I didnt feel like reading 5 pages of this, but Due to the governor, in my 01 Civic, I can get a little over 120 in 4th, and 110 in 5th. This was when it was brand new, I havent gone over 90 in my car in about 2 years.

Yeah, 2nd gear is what they call a power gear, it's still a really low gear and thus doesn't need much help with power. Third gear is where we lose alot of acleraction, so that is where we need the n2o the most (and higher gears of course).

C16 is a racing gas that is avialble at most race tracks. But any real high octane gas should work (105+) should work. Watch to see if it leaded though, if it is, go up to the pump with an empty tank, put about 1 gallon or 2 in to your tank and run it low. Leaded gas will ruin you O2 sensor and catalytic converter.
As for people running 75 shots with out a problem, there are a few, but there are also a few that have blown their engines with 75 shots. I don't know their exact setup, so maybe they where not running the proper gas or something.
