ok... my sisters car is having a **** load of problems from left to right (00 jetta vr6) and the it eats gas a lot.. and since its paid off.. shes thinking of selling it for at least 8 grand or less..
Now we're looking for a car for at around the 10-13 grand range or less.. and used..oh and fuel efficient (something japanese though, no offense), and something that isn't as bad as the jetta.. oh she doesn't likes corollas..lol
shes been shopping around with her bf and found 2k1 civic sedan and says it has a sunroof.. so it's possibly an ex.. but i heard there were some minor probs with the first 7thgens but i haven't seen one with mine yet since i drive a silver sedan lx myself.. well except that its auto
..jk i love the auto..
but i know that there are other options out there besides the civic.. but we have the civic in mind..
any suggestions? oh and it has to be at least a 2000 and up model...

if i were in that position, i'd think about the:
-scion TC because its affordable a sporty (i believe their basically toyota with a scion badge?)
-2004 civic coupe or sedan ex, gas mileage is excellent, very affordable, had no problems with my 2003 ex at all. i believe the 2001 civic models had some sort of recall because of the suspension?
-base rsx? pretty much a step up ahead of the civic with a larger price tag
-toyota celica gt, all the girls i know like this car a lot and i guess thats why people call it a "chick" car. i like it because of its clean interior design, smooth driving, and sporty exterior styling. would've definately took this car if i had the chance at first.
-nissan sentra, i believe this car made car and drivers or motor trends top 10 list of 2003 or 2004. not quite sure but its a pretty nice car. kind of in the same catergory as the civic i guess.

look up reviews, tests, etc on the new model cars and see how they rate it. if they seem good and all, hit up the dealer n test drive one for yourself and find out the results.

lol.. thing is.. i suggested the celica to my sister and she said she hated the big hump on the front (hood?) and i loved the tc but she said it was ugly from the back.. then she busts out with the mini cooper being cute.. i'm like wth...haha
