The TTC bus that saved by A$$
So here's the deal. I'm driving to work on Friday morning. Our main office is at Keele and the 407 and we have a second facility near Jane and Highway 7.
I'm shooting east on Steeles, towards Jane (driving north of York U.). I think the limit is 70, but I'm going 105-110 or so. As usual I'm driving in the right lane, NO traffic at all. As I get closer to Jane, I spot a TTC bus in front of me, in the right lane. I have 2 options: Floor it, pass the bus, cut him off, and turn north on Jane (risky) OR slow down, wait for the bus to move over and make my turn.
Being in a good mood, I decide to take the latter option and slow down to about 60km/h. About ten seconds later, I see a cop standing near the side of the road by the Purolator Depot holding a RADAR GUN.
Last thing I need is another ticket. I'm trying to keep my record clean so my insurance will go down. I've got 7 (small) speeding tickets under my belt, all but two were more than 5 years ago...

So why are you speeding if you know you don't want any more tickets??
Definitely confusing me there.. but at least you got lucky - unlike the 7 other times

I was being dumb... Yes, I know. Well, in the last 3 years I've only had 1 ticket, 40 bucks and no points.
I'm usually pretty careful though, I was running a bit late for a meeting and my lead foot got the better of me.

We all get lucky .. just wanted some clarification. Though you do need to slow down, especially in traffic. (Lol this coming from me
)Good luck evading the police some more - I know I enjoy my luck .. will hate when it runs out
