I agree it's a bit impractical. Then again, if you drive a modded car, you know you've sacrificed practicality somewhere down the road. I still want those doors.....and have my rears open like those but suicide...the car would look like an exploded sardine can, lol.

Ounces dont affect your times. The temperature change in the air over over an hour during the day would have more effect. As would taking a crap before you raced.

How does that change side impact protection? It's just a modified hinge. When the door is closed its the same as factory specs.
