Unhappy Buy from a Shop or Online?

I'm looking to buy new dc headers and an apex-i gt spec exhaust, but im not sure if i should buy it from my local tuning shop or online. I'm gonna save about 200 bucks if i get them online. But the guys at the tuning shop are really helpful when i have problems with my car. So what do you guys think get the parts online or from the tuner shop? (I'm doin the install myself)

If you can trust your shop then get it from there......it might be cheaper. If not, then go for a online store u can trust who has good customer service. I always deal with Jeff at www.streetlevelperformance.com

If he doesn't have something on the site, he can get it for you and he is always helpful and every transaction was excellent

If its cheaper get it online. Look around different shops though because not everythign online is cheaper..... I thought it was but its not if you check out the right places.

My rims for example, I thought online stores gave me really good prices for them and I was gonna get them online...... but before ordering I decided to just check my local shop for the hell of it and it turned out my local shop had the same rims for about 250 bucks cheaper. Go figure.

Anyway, good luck and always shop around everywhere before you drop $$

Don't forget if you buy online, you'll have to pay for shipping also. If the prices with shipping are similar, I would rather get it from a local shop because you can see it before you buy it. Also, you can always bring it back there if anything ever happens to it.

Just remember that even though the online store charges shipping your shop will charge sales tax.

well there is no need to tune a header or exhaust so get it online and install it yourself. save yourself alot of money that way.

Or you could just save your money since you wont get any HP gains from the header and exhaust which I assume is the reason you are going to buy one.
