Disable VALET Mode

can you guys help me disable my valet mode for my car. the car locks when i click on the lock button, but it no longer beeps and the headlights don't light up. its an 02 civic ex. thanks

If you have a remote just give the valet the remote.

Get in your car. Close the door. Lock and unlock the doors with the door switch. Insert your key into the ignition and then remove it 5 times in rapid succession. Lock and unlock you doors again with the switch. Then try your remote. That does it on my '03. Or maybe it's unlock and then lock then do the key thing and unlock and lock again. Anyway, try both, one of them should work.

i do have the same problem with my 04 civic recently. would this fix my problem to? i recently lost the horn sound after i lock with the remote 2 times. the horn should supposed to honk with flashing lights... am i also in valet mode?
