my friend does that in his turck. its actually not harmful to the vehicle because there are rubber stoppers that keep it from going all the way down. the sparklers effect is usually from a metal ball that is either welded or bolted on to the bottom of the vehicle

either way there is no frame damage

^^Ive seen them before too. Apperantly you can get different types of metal on the frame so that it makes different colored sparks. hehe, thats pretty insane.
