I get married and acquire a 1992 honda civic cx hatchback 5 speed

only 122,000 miles on it

I got married a little more than a month ago... the most frustrating thing about the subject of marriage is infantile comments like this... and if the comments are based on experience, then it was just that person reflecting their own bad experience on my marriage... again, annoying.

that said, congratulations on your marriage, its a big step to take and i have a respect for anyone willing to take that step in today's non committal society.

one last thing -- i acquired a '92 Chev Blazer when I got hitched

I have done work on the car in the past for her

but now I get to see if she will let me do anything to it like I want to

just last month I took it into state inspections and discovered the exhaust was gone from the cat back

that was no fun pulling off the rusted pipe and putting new ones one....$250 in cost of parts

anyways......What do you all reccomend in terms of revamping the transmission...or possibly the clutch and flywheel? Car doesn't like reverse and I am hoping it isn't a worn gear

And man 8 days is too damn long

cars currently own:

1992 Honda Civic CX hatch manual
1997 Saturn SL2 auto
2004 Honda Civic LX auto
