the new corollas got a detuned gts engine ... not saying it's replacing it, but ... there's where the gts engine went.

tC is not going to be the replacement and here is why. It is a part of scion not toyota, scion is its own company that is owned by toyota. So there is the reason the tC is not the replacement. Just my .02

Celica is front wheel drive, so is the corrola.

the celica GTS had 180 hp and the corrolla is gonna have 170hp.

Are there any other specs?

Do you know which is heavier.

Volta's 408-hp Hybrid Synergy Drive (a 3.3-liter V6 with an electric motor for each axle) not only delivers 435 miles on a 13.7-gallon tank, but 0 - 60 acceleration in a mere 4 seconds.

Ramones is an unknown quantity at this point

RWD performance is not dead to Toyota. The Tacoma X-runner should be coming out this September w/ 240hp, 6 speed manual, handling that rivals the 350Z, and has a TRD supercharger option. Hope it retails for 23 grand or less.

Yeah i saw a pic of the new supra, i dunno kinda ugly, its not turboed either, might be supercharged. Im glad there getting rid of the MR2, i own a 91 MR2 and i think the new ones are ugly and slow, so it wont be missed. Hopefully they dont start replacing with the Scions or whatever.
