Lets see, 250hp all wheel drive, better looking than the STI....yea thats a no brainer. I love the styling of the new Legacy, i sat in one at the auto show, the interior is awsome.

ill tell you whats awesome, test driving a brand new GTO off the lot.
those remind me alot of the a8's with built in air lift suspension

the STi has 3. one on the front wheels, one on the rear wheels and an adjustable center differential. the front and rear differentials control power distribution to either left or right wheels, the center diff controls between front and rear. you can adjust it if you want more front grip or more rear grip depending on driving and road conditions.
i dont know if you just didnt know what an LSD was, but having one on each wheel is kind of pointless and i dont even know if its possible. even if it was, at 300+ for a differential, theyre already expensive enough just for one.
The OUTBACK is classified as a SUV.
Subaru did this by raising the ride height of the Outbacks.
You'll notice that the 3.0R Sedan has a SUV like ride height.
The regular Legacys are classified as cars.
It gets confusing because both models look the same.

I didn't like it till I drove one. They're fantastic - very little turbo lag, it just pulls and pulls. The sportshift automatic is terrible, but I've yet to find a sportshift automatic that I've liked from any manufacturer. The interior is top notch, and the whole car looks awesome in person. Build quality and materials based seem top notch. Handling was also quite good. It's probably slower than a WRX, but not by much, and every other part of the car is light years ahead (especially the interior). It's a worthwhile trade off, IMO.
