Woo! Gas mileage back up!

I'm very excited you guys. I just got back from a road trip to the Chicago meet. Filled up the tank, and when I came back, there was about 1/4 left. I filled it up again and calculated my mpg to be 37!! I'm shocked. Well here are the details. It's probably a combo of everything new I've done. Oh and in case you're wondering, old mileage with 98% highway driving was 32-34.

For some reason, city driving still gives me really low mpg.

Recent mods for mpg:

--Sun hyper voltage system
--DH ported head/HP header
--Greased lightning fuel system cleaner

Driving conditions:

--Cruising at 65mph most of the way, with A/C on half the time
--5 to 10 full throttle starts from toll booths
--very little city driving
--Mobil 89 octane gas

My gas milege is back up also. Ever since I sold my 17s and put back my stockies I been getting about 310 miles out of a full tank of gas easy. With my 17s I couldnt break the 280 mark...... I didnt think heavy rims made that much of a difference. Wonder what 19s will do to the mpg when i get em... hehe

anyway, congrats man..... i know how it feels to have a mpg boost all of the sudden.
