v6 04 accord coupe w/nav/leather/aero kit...$$$$
me and my brother is planning to purchase 2 accords fully loaded. . we decided to let dealership bid on us.. a v6 w/nav/leather/kit goes around 28-29... after several days, it has lowered to 22,480 .. 12 dealership bidding on us.. i just wanted to share this cause im excited as fusss.. it probably won't go much lower, maybe 2-300 but that is an astonishing price and i can't wait to get them
i think what he meant was that he went around to couple honda dealers to let them know hes interested in 2 accord 04 v6 coupes? or was it just 1 car? but he basically went around the area to talk to every dealer about whats the best price he can get an accord for.
example: he goes to dealer#1 and asks the cheapest he will sell (26g)
now he goes to dealer#2 and asks the same question, he says 27g, then he will tell the dealer that dealer#1 is selling an accord for 26g, which is 1 grand cheaper then what your selling..now dealer#2 will sell for 25.5g's
way to hussle

umm www.honda.com
get a quote from different areas...
whatever one is cheapest... use that one, then tell the other quoters how much you could get it for... and then start calling them..
most of the communication is via email.. it's great
once you get the lowest price, bring the invoice to the local dealer and show them, they'll match it or beat it

22,480 ? thats cheaper than v6 coupe without navi and areo kit! maybe the dealerships bluff, they do that all the time, give you a lower quote, then you go in and they drag you in and jack up the price. happened to me before when i asked about a quote previously offered, the sales guy was just like "lets sit down, we'll talk about it and see what the manager thinks".

at the end, turns out the manager wont cut 1g off the sticker price

Well, I was just curious, plenty of people throw out "facts" around here with absolutely nothing to back it up other than their opinion.
One thing I know though, is the toyota dealer here will actually sell cars below invoice, because they take very little profit yearly from their sales floor, all their money comes from the service dept which 100% sustains the dealer. My dad knows the GM.

Hard to believe - considering that the invoice price without destination is $25,641. Add the $490 destination and you are over $26,000. So , $22,480? Around $3650 under invoice with destination - I seriously doubt that any Honda dealership would do that.
It has been my experience that Honda dealerships are the worst crooks that I have ever encountered. Trying to charge me $25 for a gas cap and $17.25 a piece for spark plugs. If you can get the Accord for that price that would be some kind of miracle! Did you use a Jedi Mind Trick on them to get them to quote that price?

it is true that alot of a dealerships money comes from parts and service but to say 100% sustain would be inaccurate.
