Which car to rent?
Well jiggle wiggles, I'm dropping my baby off at the bodyshop tomorrow night, pickin up a rental the next day. So here it is - which car should I rent? Budget and availability restrict me to the Hyundai Accent or the Toyota Echo (sedan). So..what do you think?

Oh well then, I'd say the lesser of the two evils... lol, I don't want to put it that way, but I'm not the biggest fan of either of them so the Echo kinda won.

I was actually gonna go, but I had salsa lessons, and then I sold my springs and stock shocks to a couple of peeps. Then I cleaned out my car, and I was so tired after I didn't even have the energy to vacuum it.

Having had the unfortunate experience of driving both of those cars as rentals before, I would say the Accent is marginally better (like comparing one peice of poo to another though
). I take it you want to keep costs down, so thats why you are picking from the lowest category?

Yup - I have other costs to consider, such as an upcoming wedding I have to attend, new stereo setup, and moving into an apartment this fall.

Hey pharoh, I just came back from BKS - quote starts at $600 for lip kit all around. A tiny bit more for a full bumper, but it all depends how the stuff fits. If he doesn't have to fuqq around with it, then the price stays around 6 bills. If some modding is involved (fitment issues) then the price rises rather significantly.

Unless you're swapped or FI'd there's no way you're smokin V6 Tibs, underpowered as they may be.
Accents shouldn't even try the stoplight-to-stoplight thing. I wonder if Hyundai engineered some sort of clutch/acceleration delay mechanism so the car couldn't be floored, thus saving the driver the embarrassment of being utterly raped during a street confrontation. OK it's early and I need coffee.
Update: my whole family refuses to pick me up from work to drop me at the rental place. So now I have to take a $30 cab to pick up my rental. Stupid family.
