Mission : Bust Shocks
so my car is not lowered, i am afriad to lower it because i know my shocks will bust, so i wanna bust them now, so the dealership can change them to 04 shocks (which are better) under waranty, so yesterday at the weekly meet, i had my first try, with 4 in the car this is what i did

if your car is an 01/02/03. the dealer will use the shock components of an 01/02/03.
if you for sure that the dealer WILL change your shocks to an 04 model, thats great but is it really worth it? stock shocks i heard are always going to be bad no matter what without the spring its suppose to be with.
as for that video, it looks fun but your not only damaging the shocks, but also the other parts of the car.

a better idea would be to put everyone int he car and drive really fast off a cliff. that should do the trick

Rep Power: 348 You wanna trade? I got something squeaky running over two pot holes and I'm going to the dealership on friday to get it checked... That bad thing is that I just had them replaced less than a month ago.
Here's a tip, find some nasty pot holes and run the car over them over 40mph.

Rep Power: 454 If you wanna bust them, start driving over speed bumps doing 50mph or so and keep doing that untill your ride goes to ****. Then take it to honda, and if they say they arent blown, keep doing it untill they are. Besides, like jttegx said, most likely that will put the same yr. shocks on your car that you have. Why do you think they will use 04. Those will be just as shitty.

Rep Power: 355 the 2001, and 2002 shocks were declraed to be faulty by honda, there was a recall on them, i am just lucky that mine turned out not faulty, so for the 2003, 2004 models they fixed the weekness, so the shocks are slightly better.

Rep Power: 454 Yea and they fixed the problem. So when you go to get new shocks, they arent going to put 04 shocks on your car, since yours is a 02, they will put 02 civic shocks on there.
