huh? that's funny. because me and my buddy race around in his *stock* srt-4 and own 350z's (stock) left and right... and i dont think they were just messing with us. not all 5 of them. LOL

Rep Power: 0 I hate to say it, but a stock 350z isn't as fast as a stock SRT-4...My friend with a Srt races my other friends, brothers 350. The Srt beats it everytime...Now 350z TT is a whole different story

The srt-4 did beat the 350z just so you know. A fully built type s turbo pushing 8 lbs barely pulled the 350z.. it was pretty even in my opinion..

Your wrong!!! They both switched up and the SRT still won...You guys might hate it, but the SRT is fast and has a lot of torque...I didn't want to beleive it either until I seen the race myself.
the srt is pretty fast in fact i was lookin in to one b4 but bottom line its not just the engine its the tranny's that gotta be nice and i doubt dodge makes a nicer tranny than nissan (and if they can its not goin in a 19 grand neon)
plus if my buddy is right there is like a 400 pound difference so id say there pretty close to each other and one could easily own the other depending on driver

but the thing you said about the transmission at least holds *some* ground. my buddy with the srt already is having transmission problems. but he does drive like a maniac, so im not sure how good the transmissions are over the years. So I can't compare that to nissan. the srt-4 has one of the best values even though some of you still brand it 'a neon' this thing deserves a better reputation than that. you have to respect any company that delivers a good, fast and affordable sport compact, such as the SRT-4 (Street Racing Technology, btw)

Rep Power: 0 Give that SRT-4 a turbo upgrade and about 1000 dollars of more mods and that 350 would have been breakfast. 375 WHP untuned with some kits that are out for it.
one guy on stock internals hit 500 in H town. Beware of the Dodge. People blow them off to much as domestics. If they are hooked up right (just like alot of cars) it would be fast as shat. Thats a German motor in that biotch. But you can argue both ways. But stock the SRT-4 will beat a 350Z Stock. my .02

Rep Power: 563 They should race in about 3 years from now...I don't mind giving the SRT it's props for the straight line power but it's gonna be roadkill in a few years from now I think.
Dodge + Turbo = Disaster.
I've really only started to see them in Ottawa over the last month but my first encounter with one was seeing it blocking an intersection with a blown apart front suspension setup. I saw a dead and smokin one on the side of the highway a few days ago as well.
either way...I don't care for them that much.
