Sorry guys, but I have to dissagree, I do not like the direction BMW has taken their cars. And Im a LONG time BMW fan. For the 5 Series, I like the E39 the best, it still had all the classic BMW styling, the Double Round Headlights and the Kidny grills. the new one..... With out the BMW emblem and the Kidny grills you would not be able to tell that it was a BWM...

BMW allready has a Variable timing system Called VANOS, and it is LIGHTYEARS ahead of a simple 2 stage Variable timing system (V-Tec)
Heres some info on it...

That would be the one.. I had the pleasure of driving a 540 sport, with the 6 speed manual transmission... Cruzin down the freeway doing 80 in 4th gear, engine Humming along at about 4,500 RPM and I had only 1 thought on my mind.... "Wow, I have 2 more gears to go through...."

That sounds like a car that would get me in lots of trouble! It's a very good thing that I and alot of other young people cannot afford it.I've been in 750il, 328i, and Z3. All were very nice cars. The 750il had lots of problems though. Damn V12s!

I hate BMW to begin with but I really don't like the new designs very much
im not a fan of bmws but i know the difference 3 series and m3's. i disagree too about the new m5 and the generation before that one. i think it was the 2001-2003 years? but it was the one in the photo given. the new style seems too sleek and bubble-eyed. maybe its the color but i still like the older m5 imo.

i'd have to agree, i like the styling of my dad's 330i...i dont like the way that new m5 looks
going 80 in his car sounds and feels like 20mph in my car.

i don't like the profile the car has. it looks out of proportion to me. the sweeping back of the head lights is also really ugly. but my favorite BMW series is the M3. nothing beats that car. its so hot....want to touch the heiney.

new bmw style is way slicker than the old. the new says wake up its 04, not 98 peeps. anyways i'd take a m3 over a m5 and drop the price diff into mods. probably about 25 grand or so i would guess. im thinkin i'd like twin turbos.....maybe 19 in racing harts...
