Since when did a STOCK 200 hp ITR out accelerate 60's 70's muscle cars with V8's? I dunno, but either he's lying, or the car he raced wasn't really "american muscle." My father used to have a 67 camaro ss, and I've never sat in anything that planted me in my seat like that car. It ran a 10.3 before he sold it.

So I learned a long time ago that having an load carbuerated(sp?) V8 doesn't mean its fast.
And you remember these things are land BOATS, sure they might have more power but they are also pulling alot of weight.
Im not trying to dumb down American Muscle, as I have the utmost respect for these cars. But I think alot of people got this idea in theyre head that only a highly modified import can ever beat an old V8. In stock form alot of these older "muscle" cars weren't that fast, its not until you begin modifying them do you unlock the true "muscle" these cars have

Actually no. There were few muscle cars that could run o-60 under 7 seconds and the 1/4 in under 15. So hes not a tool.

Rep Power: 328 Well maybe, I don't know much about no Chevelle, but I know plenty of musclecars are fast out there, and I think he's a tool because of the way he acts on the road.

Rep Power: 0 redvtec04 and Gotboost??? are right, there are many muscle cars out there that arent so muscle....they look mean and sound mean but are damn heavy. I remember racing a 67 or so Chevy Chevelle SS in the 1/8 mile and he managed to only pull a 10.3. Now on the other hand if it was a Hemi Cuda or somethin then its ***** to the wall my friend.

Rep Power: 328 Well like I said my Dad's old camaro hauled some serious ***....He did have a full fiberglass front clip, and alot of work done to it though...My Dad's the only asian guy I've ever seen drive an old muscle car like that...

Rep Power: 0 yeah, sorry, i was annoyed, but alot of imports are faster than muscle cars... because most muscle cars arent all that fast, its the few that are that you gotta watch out for... and it sounded like he meant the whole import scene in vegas wen i almost gaurantee that hes never met any of the subaru guys or the guys that know thier **** and have fast cars...
