Rep Power: 400 you know, this reminds me of a recent encounter I had with an SRT4. my friend Alan has a completely stock 350Z. he had 2 friends with SRT4 neons that wanted to race him. Alan raced the guy once from a roll and once from a stop. Both times, alan beat him and the guy was like "no way is your car stock... you shouldn't be pulling on me like that" and blah blah blah blah. it's like he had to come up with any excuse he could to explain why his almight neon lost.
anyways, then Alan said "race my friend's S2000" and the guys were like, no they are slow. Alan explained that the S2k and 350Z are pretty much dead nuts even, so eventually I got to race the guy. The first time he lined up on me, he acted like he wasnt' going to race, then launched and took off. Then as I was pulling on him and about to pass he shut down and threw on his blinkers at a mere 70mph. loser.
So later revenge was mine. We lined up an ACTUAL race and I whupped the ever loving **** out of his neon. I think when we shut down around 120mph, I had several cars on him.
Anyways, unfortunately it seems the cost of the car varies directly with the punk attitude of the driver sometimes. :/

Rep Power: 307 how can the guy with the 7th gen claim he has a k20, which is the type r motor and has an 8000+ redline, and call 6800 rpms fast?? granted the type r is fast in all ranges but it seems to me that to find how "fast" a car is, you redline that piece. I had a similiar post in the original "0-70" post but i think it got deleted for some reason
This is gotta be a joke.....ive met some bs'ers in my day that boggled my mind but this is crazy and he's sticking to his guns

my friend has a 04 S2000, and he ate an SRT4s lunch the other day... Those things might be "fast", but I would rather pay more for a RWD car with a 6 speed thats NOT a domestic and faster.

*EDIT* just watched the video of the the older civic. and realized at the end that the whole thing is a joke. Pretty funny...
