The 7th Gen Si is a huge dissapointment. It shouldn't even be a Si because a real Civic Si should set its self quite a distance in performance than the lower model civics. When I test drove it, it braked the same, accelerated the same, and felt the same as my slightly performance modded EX. Now that my car is lowered a equal driver as me wouldn't stand a chance in the Si.

haha some of you guys think it's overpriced? it's $15k for cryin aloud. Get a job, if you have one work harder. wow. The Si's a great car. The only thing I don't like, really, is that stock it's kind of underpowered, 160 horsepower doesn't really cut it that much, but it's still quick. Brakes may be weak, I think it has good handling and it really isn't that heavy, lighter is always nicer but compared to most cars these days, well they're obese.
I love the car, and it looks just as good if not nicer than the coupe IMO, once it's lowered.

I did the same thing as the originator of the thread. Had some work on mine, so sat in si to feel the seats. Test drove it and loved it. Handling was better, power was better, and I even liked the looks better. But, I wasn't going to pay the extra $15 month and start over on payments.
I bought an EP3 because you rarely see them on the road (at least where I commute) and I had an itch for a hatch. The lack of power doesnt really bother me. I just wanted a car to have some fun in.
I do love the EX coupes as well, though
