Well I was doing a little research and I realized something. The 1995 Ford GT40 concept had the same lay out of an Engine. The Ford Gt40 has a 500 HP V8. So I say that there will never be an ME-12.

I didn't say they were GT40's master did. The guy who owned the 40 part of the name wanted to be paid by Ford. So Ford decided not to use the 40 part of the name. Plus it never was a Ford GT40. That name was coined from the 40" height of the car. Never part of the real name of the car.

The resulting car was the GT40 (so named because its overall height was 40 inches)

The GT40 name was trade marked by a company that makes replica GT40's hence Fords new car being called the GT. Which is pretty sad if you ask me, but thats the way of the world.

well when the car was produced and every time I have ever seen it in a car mag it has been called a GT40......if it was not called a GT40 then I am pretty sure they would not be calling it that every single place I look.
Okay again let's do this slowly so that a retard can understand. When the car was INTRODUCED to the world in the NY autoshow in APRIL of 1964 it was simply called the FORD GT. The name GT40 was added when the MARK II came out wich was the second version of the GT. At that point it was named the GT40 because the second edition of the car had a height of 40" UNDERSTAND. you do understand th because it was in an autoshow doesn't mean its production. oh yeah, and your link doesn't work. Let me spell this out to a fellow retard...... you have to do more than type in a webpage address for a webpage to be made and for it to be yours

*** It was a goddamn joke. Of course it's not a real site. Like I said before go do your research before you talk ****. It was introduced at the Autoshow as a production vehicle for the year. The autoshow was just the intro of the car to the masses. Just like most cars are introduced year after year. For example the GT was at the autoshow this year to be introduced to the public up close and personal. It is already in production. The dealer I work for will have one by about Sept of this year.

You god damn ******. Get the **** out of my post.
I'm saying that the ME-4-12 has the same engine type as the GT40 concept. But now the production GT40 has a 500 HP NA V8.
so, I unfortunately as much as I love the ME-12 I don't think it'll ever happen.

I'd also take the GT. Read the reviews, the GT already got rated better than the Modena and the Lambo Gallardo. So yeah I'll take the GT. The dealer I work for already has one on the way. I'll send you guys pics when it gets here.
