Just go get the honda fluid from your dealership. I did that for my auto, but I imagine they would have manual fluid as well.

Dont be a cheap *** and put junk into your car, if you're going to change it, do it right. You might as well not change it if you're going to throw in some crap from Pep Boys

is that im not trying to be cheap im trying to as a additive to the tranny oil ( lucas tanny oil) and honda wont let me do this there. Maybe i just go to honda a get the tranny oil there and go somewhere else to do the tranny oil change with the lucal oil.. that is the reason why i want to know what kind of tranny oil is used in my car .. you guys are right .. any here using any different type of tranny oil.? thanks green and gearbox

oh additives? dont use that crap, no oil or fluids need extra additives, they come made with additives already in there. believe me, it isnt going to do anything by adding Lucas Oil...now I know what you're talking about. Save yourself the $$ and return it and just use 100% OEM tranny fluid and your set

^^^^ i agree. as for 2.5 quarts..that wrong, its 1.5liter (1.6 quart) for fluid changes on manuals and 2.7liter(2.9quart) for autos

when u were filling it, did you have the car raised. when filling, the car should be on the flat, even ground and you should stop filling when in starts coming out the fill hole.

the a diy thread just search, basically jack the car up and look for a recessed (i guess thats what it would be called) square, and indent where a 3/8" ratchet would fit with no socket. loosen that up and drain, then close properly and open the fill bolt. put the car on leve ground and fill till tranny fluid comes out of the fill bolt. if fill bolt has crush washer replace, i dont know as i havent done it yet. i dont have the torque specs, i have the factory service manual in the garage (<<<<jeez is that thing huge). b4 u drain, make sure you can 1.)loosen the fill bolt and 2.)get fluid to it, a hand pump is ideal.

no you dont need one but it will make fill it up alot easier. you put it one end into a container of tranny fluid, and run a small hose to the fill hole. when the fluid starts coming out the fill your done, it the easiest way i know of.
