BMW tuning power?

Hi here is my deal, i have a 2001 civic ex with quite a bit done for show but no go, well i have most of the bolt ons but whoopie-doo, i want power...and here is my deal...I'm about to graduate from college and am about to get a job that pays pretty damn well, so here is my plan, im going to live at home for a year to save money and wait for my gf to finish college (im putting a down payment on a r6 in about two months) and i also want a new car...so i want to get a luxury car that still has some tuning power, and in about a year ill have my cars trade in value plus 20/25 grand in cash, which ill use half of for a down and the other half to slam it immediately with both show and go mods, i know the lexus is300 has this potential but i hate 4 doors, so what about the bmw 325ci? im pretty sure its 2.5L and 180 @ 6000 rpm's...

do you know any sites, or you yourself know about the tuning potential of the say 2003/2004 bmw 325ci....like turbo's etc etc....i want atleast 250 whp...i know there are some crazy bmw's in f1 racing so i know tuning potential is there i just have no idea about how to go about finding info on it...please help me if you can

thanks

bleh with the 3 series anything lower then the 330 is a waste of potential.

A buddy of mine has a 330 lightly lightly modded and he smokes everyone....

I think your gunna over do it if you go from a civic to a Bimmer that is immediatly turbo'd.....just get the 3 series and see how you feel once you get it.

Not that it matters since he doesnt want a 4 door, but the turbo A4 sucks *****, there are recalls on them from coilpacks going out, the 3.0 V6 is much more reliable and far more powerfull. For some reason everyone on these boards salivate over F/I. N/A power is SO much better.

if you are willing to shell out around $7,000 for a turbo on a 325, then by all means do so. go with a newer e36 m3.
