or

it just depends on how much money you have man....
Personally I think the mazda 3 is gross....
Civic si is over rated.
2005 Mustang GT will be painful on the wallet when it comes to insurance...

heres the thing... mazda3 is kinda different, has more torque than an si, si has a much better aftermarket and better resale, mustang has bad resale but good styling and 300 horsepower...
i don't know what to do. i'm kinda leaning towards the Si just for the sake of gas mileage and resale. plus it's slightly more unique.
I test drove the Mazda 3. It had nice torque, but it feels like your sitting up high when your driving it. Didn't like that at all. Also the Knight Rider gimmiky lights on the radio will get old fast if you don't swap in your own head unit.
why not go for an SRT-4? decent looking car, lots of hp and crazy torque, plus you get the LSD for the 04 models, and lets not forget there's a lot of space for upgrades. All this for $20,500
Well, if you want to stick with honda, go for the Si but that car has nothing going for it.

I'd say Mustang if your willing to pay the insurance. I love the new styling!
I think the mazda 3 will have some aftermarket support, but it is early yet....kinda like what happened with the 7th gen...took a while before things really started pooring out.

trade it man, im planning to trade mine also. maybe a little 6th gen si coupe or a gsr. atleast so i can swap in a nicely modded k20 into, either that or just going to with a s14 in the near future.

Evo is nice. I saw one today at a light with those hids. When he floored it, the bov sounded so nice. It would sure be nice to have a car with power.

you might wanna wait on the stangs. if i were you id get one, but like always you gotta be careful with that first year of production.
but i agree with tripledoublegs, have you considered the '04 SRT-4?
it has more HP and TQ then the previous models comes standard with the LSD and car and driver ran a 1/4 @ 13.9 sec @ 103 mph stock. your smoking some stock GT's right there

Oh yeah, I thought the Civic Typ R was coming next year. My dealer wasn't sure if it was the '05 year or '06 year.
