^I drove a V8 100 miles daily up until 2 weeks ago. The performance is nice but overated when it comes to daily commuting. So if you racking up the miles like I do, I would steer far clear of any V8 unless big $ in gas fit your budget.
Edit: Also some V6s come close to the Fuel economy of V8s so watch out for those too.
