I want a RSX type-S
I have wanted and RSX type S for the longest time, well i guess since they came out. I use to want a Integra GSR but i could never find one and it was too much money. But now that I have been out of school for a bit, i think i could afford a used one. I love the type s sooo much, i still havn't driven one because if i do then i absoulutly would have to get it right there on the spot. I have a 03 civic EX/SI right now, and don't get me wrong i love my car but i want to rev the car to 5500 rpm and feel and hear the screaming vtec, i have wanted that for sooo long. Also that engin also responds to mods quite well, a hole lot more than d17 does. Anyway i just want to get a dohc "real"vtec car
I have 10000 dollars left to pay on my honda civic 02 with 23000 miles on it. Is there any way that I could turn in the civic for an RSX even though I haven't paid off the car yet? What would they do, just take the 10000 and put it on the RSX?
just a question...I luv my civic...don't know if I have the guts to trade it in without feeling guilty...

You and me both dude. I have an Si (EX) as well, but after my cousin bought a Type-S two years ago, I've always wanted one. I'm planning to get one when I graduate from University next April.
my buddy is gettin a type s
next saturday me and my buddy are ridin 6 hours to tennesseen and gettin him an rsx.
he found a rebuilt titled rsx with only 13k miles on it. last weekend we went and he put a down payment on it....man that thing is quick. im the lucky one though cause he cant drive a stick...so i get a 6 hour long play time in it before i hop back into my 2001 lx and feel slow again.

mwahahaha (jk)..... I just got rid of my civic 2 weeks ago for a base model RSX... Let me tell you. When you get behind the wheel it just does not compare to the civic.
And TBH, RSX's look a lot more appealing than the Civics. Especially at night with the H1 bulbs... Although insurance is a little more, at least now I am HAPPIER than when I had the Civic.

I too feel this pain everytime I am home and get to run my dad's type s around the block. But yeah, I get better mileage, have lower insurance, and can actually afford my car for the moment. Maybe once I hit 100K (I am at 37k now) I will start looking for a new car, I am in this one for the long haul
Just remember, no matter what you drive (unless its a McLaren F1
) there will always be someone with a car that is faster or better handling, now learning to live with that everyday is the hard part
