Angry How Fuct Up Is This

Ok ya'll remember how I took my car into have it worked on for some warrenty work...well they called me today and said my car had been broken into and everything was stolen, that means I lost $4,000 in stereo equipment. My insurance company says that Honda is reliable b/c my car was locked away in there shop and Honda says they aren't reliable for any damages. So right now I am confused...I just want my system back. THe only good news out of this all is that I am gonna get a big check from someone and I am getting all new stuff. I had one Kove Armageddon U-2 series 15-inch sub and a 500 watt amp, and two digital battery compacitors. They broke all my windows. I think it was an inside job b/c some how the guy that called me said that my box had been stolen, funny b/c none of the warrenty work was near the trunk or in the trunk. Figure that one out... Just to get to the point...DON'T TRUST DAVID McDAVID HONDA IN IRVING, TEXAS

That's rediculous. You need to get the money from the dealer. It's their responsibility to make sure the car is secure. And did you leave it overnight or something? How would all that stuff get taken and noone saw anything? Hope everything works out.

when you gave them your keys, they were responsible for the car, so they should be paying for all the damages. If not, just file a lawsuit on their ***.

any reputable dealership especially honda, should be liable. you gave them your keys for
repairs, and it was in their possession. they should treat it like it was one of their own. that is just wrong. that's why when i get an oil change done at the dealership or anywhere for that matter, i empty out all valuables into a bag and put it in my house. then when i get back i put everything back into the car. damn thieves!

The dealership is responsible. Make sure they filed the police report since it was on thier property. Make sure that you have documented proof (ie pictures...) and talk to a lawyer to see what your options are. Good luck.

I work at a dealership, and we've had a few cars broken into in the recent past. They were all our cars, but we still have insurance to cover the dealership. First i would talk to the cops about who should cover it and see what they say, and if they say the dealership is but they still won't cover it, take them to court. I would also check their video cameras, if they have any, to see if it was someone that works there or not.

P.S. If the dealership still won't cover it after all that, or at anytime, contact Honda Corporate. They're headquarters for USA is out here in Torrance, CA. Lemme know if u need the number or address.

fill out a police report ASAP the longer you wait the worse4 off youll be. you need a legaly documented record of the account. then start talking to you insurance maybe pay your deductable and have them go after the dealer.... call the dealer general manager and light a fire under his nuts over the phone.. then call american honda..... the number is in your owners manual, and tell them what happened etc... dont give up or be a push over but be polite and stern since 4 g's is alot of money there gonna try and get out of it... you may need to go to calims court or somthin... but file a damn police report asap

Dealer is at fault. Unless you signed something saying if your car is tampered with, they arent at fault. Then youre F*ed.
