Yeah. . kinda sad to see a Honda soo abused. I can't beleive how long it kept on running.
My friend has a 6thGen Civic and he got a new engine and tranny for it. So he decided that he was going to just blow up either the old engine, or old tranny, which ever came first. The original tranny was an automatic, so he would neutral drop it and do all kinds of things that just weren't right. The inside of the car was smoked out from burned rubber from the tires. Engine constantly hitting the rev limiter. Finally after about 25 minutes of beating the living **** out of it, it started to overheat. This was in the middle of summer. Anyways after about an hour and a half he was bored. The engine was hot and running goofy, but it never died. Nor did the tranny ever give out. Granted he left the oil and coolant in there, so it had a better chance, but jeez. Something should have been wrong with that car. The next day, he started it up, ran like nothing ever happened. Crazy stuff. He eventually ended up pulling the still working engine and tranny out of the car. Hondas just don't like to die.
