why not just get an Evo 8? or an Rx8 Mazda Speed.....
Personally for that price I would get myself a 350z, its crazy @ss power and has mad aftermarket support greddy twin turbos!. Not to mention i believe its a more solid desighn than both it also has a great amount of torque out of a sweet yet comfy sounding v6.

Rep Power: 0 Seeing as how I use my car to do more than just drive around, I would want the STI to haul stuff around, whether it's to the mountains, beach, or what have you. However I have no doubt that the S2K is more fun to drive.

Now if your question was appended with "or whatelse would you get int he same price range" then I'd say lightly used M3, new 350z or a new G35SC.

Personally I think the cars are two different animals. One is a RWD NA Roadster and the other is an AWD Turbo rally car. Two totally different types of automobile.
The S2000 is more rare on the street than the sti as well. Which I see as a positve. I wouldn't want to have some **** everyone else has. I love the STI, I have personally gone 120mph in one and the car rocks. Don't get me wrong, I like the car for what it is. I personally think the HUGE wing on the back looks ridiculous and is so overdone (I know its functional).
Also I feel that RWD is more fun than AWD, anyone can turn fast in an AWD car. RWD takes more skill and its fun when the back comes out
.Top down, VTEC humming, RWD, Awesome styling, Insane styling when the hard top is on (lol), a gearbox and tranny that is about a gabillion times better than the sti's, and most of all its a HONDA.
O yeah........EVO > STI
