Stinky carpets??

Did it rain?? Did your carpets get wet, and now they have an awefull STANK to them?

WELL i have your solution....(mine stank bad)

For a limited time...blah blah just kiddin

No really I used that lysol disinfectant spray...and did it work wonders.

I thought it might discolor the carpet so i tested it on some other fabric. Figured it was safe so I douced my carpets with the clean fresh Country Scent or something. The disinfectant killed all the bacteria that was building up and causing a bad smell in my car.

It smelled kind of flowery like fabreze but after a day the bad smell was Completly gone and it smelled like a neutral new car smell. No smell at all! man was i happy..I deliver pizzas too

Does it mask the smell?

cause i find fabreze to just "mask" the smell and later on the bad smell will come back.

The lysol shi| like completly took away the smell

go to home depot and rent a carpet shampooer. with the proper carpet soap and deodoriser, the smell should come right out. so long as you do a good job and take your time with the shampooer.

this is your best bet, just throwing chemicals wont do shiat, it'll just mask the smell or create a new one. you need to actually REMOVE the smell.

good luck with that.

You can buy a whole new OEM carpet for your car for $120.12 from hondaautomotiveparts.com if the smell is really bad and won't go away....I need to do that in the summer cause I have holes in my carpet and it's beat to hell from not having floor mats.
