Wow, this is an amazing failure. Can we make a new rule and say that Detriot can no longer make compact cars? They're always awful. Always. The neon, the escort, the focus... All terrible cars. Did Chevy really think they'd do any better? Just because they got a japanese company to make it doesn't mean it's going to work.

sucks for them. they should have stuck with the metro!!! And they are korean not Japanese, so they are in the category of hyundais, daewoos and kias.

Rep Power: 0 Its incredible if you guys think about it. That car gets 103HP and is 1.6 liters and it gets worse significantly worse gas milage than our civics. They also are not ULEV emmisions. Honda should really consider selling their engine designs to other companies, they could make a killing.

The new Malibu SS was reported to have a honda motor in it from what I read a while back.
The Aveo is one of those cars that you expect to die. All it is is a Korean influenced Metro, especially considering they are using it as the Suzuki Swift in Canada. Oh wow, it's supprisingly big, the only thing that isn't suprising about this car is it's flop. Now the Scion, I do expect those to catch on.
