8000 for an LX?
8000 for an LX?
So is $8,000 a decent price for an 01 LX with 50k miles, or should I keep shopping around? The car's in perfect condition and the owner has all of the recipts from the oil changes. Good bye or no?
You might be able to find it at a better price...As long as the car is in good shape, it should be worth it. Alsio, you might want to try finding an EX while your shopping...You should find one of those at that price if not cheaper.
thats a very good price if its in good condition. Thats below retail what kelly blue blook has for that car. Just make sure everything is working properly, sometimes if somethings are too good to be tru, it probably is.
If it was me I would see how much kelly blue book says its worth ( www.kbb.com )
or edmunds ( www.edmunds.com ) and base your decision on that

The mileage is a little high, and it is an 01. I would look for an 02 if you are going to get a civic. I had an 01, and I had nothing but trouble, and I know there are alot of people on this board that have the same issues that I had.

KBB on my 02 ex is $9,000 with 55k miles. Shop around man, you could probably find an EX for around the same price.

Keep in mind my car is almost 2 years old, and has 55k on it...our cars arent holding value like their predecessors.

Hmm,
In my ZIP code (prices vary by region), an 01 LX auto with 32k (what I own) shows to be worth 8450 as the fair condition trade in...
If thats the case, I guess everyone should flock to the NW to sell your 7th gens
