Previously owned vehicles
I was wondering...
What other vehicles have you owned before you bought your 7th Gen Civic?
List how many years you've been driving, and your previously owned vehicles. This will be interesting to see.
For me... well..
9 years
vehicles owned in order...
1981 Buick Skylark
1984 Chrysler Daytona
1989 Ford Probe
1985 Buick Century
1995 Ford Mustang GT
1992 Honda Civic Si
1999 Honda Accord
1997 Pontiac Sunfire GT and now..
2003 Honda Civic Si
Too many I know, I should stick to just one...
How about the rest of you?

Out of all my vehicles,
1995 Ford Mustang GT: had for 3 1/2 yrs, got it as a grad present. It was fast, but where I live, made it hard in the winter, as well as the gas. It was also the most unreliable vehicle I owned.
1999 Honda Accord Coupe: I miss this car the most. I had to sell it to get out of debt. I still see it driving around my hometown.
I bought my Civic once out of debt, and in between, bought a 1992 Civic.

Been driving since 1989
1984 Ford Mustang L Notchback V6 Sold it and the guy rolled it 4 times. He fixed it though.
1984 Buick Regal Champagne with brown Velour interior. I blacked out all the chrome and was going for a T type look. I put 36k miles on it in one year, cruising Deer Park Avenue and Hempstead Tpke. Sold it.
1983 Honda Accord 5 Speed sedan. It was free from my brother. I totally pimped that car out. I sold it for $1800 with 113k miles on it....to some little pizza delivery guy. He paid me in all $20's. I had the car for sale for 1 day in front of the auto parts store I used to work at.
1988 Honda CRX Si. hooked it up, but sold it after I got the clutch installed. I found out it was a stolen recovery and the mechanic had to use different parts from different years to do the clutch. He told me the car would need another clutch in 500 miles. I loved that car. It had no power steering, and the rear taillight leaked, but other than that, it was fun as hell.
1984 Mazda Pickup. Got it for free. My friend and I were going to chop the roof off and do the body work on it. We were going to repaint it Metalic blue with silver flames. My sister took the truck and gave it to the insurance company one day...It was her boyfriends at the time and it got wrecked...so instead of giving it to me she gave it to the insurance company. That truck could of been sweet.
1995 Plymouth NEON. We all make mistakes. This was mine. I paid $12,000 for it new. It was white, sedan, with those gay white hubcaps. I put Anterra 3 Stars on it, headlight covers, and 4 10 inch subs in the trunk. Someone stole my headlight covers, my PIaa's, and tried to steal my rims. That car was in the shop being fixed all the time. After 1 year i sold it for $7600 with 17k miles on it. What a waste of money that was.
1994 Honda civic Ex coupe...automatic. This was my mothers car. She bought it new in 1994. I bought it from her in 1997 with 40k miles for $10,000. I slammed it to the ground, got rims and tires for it, red and clear tails, projector headlights, yellow H emblems, a rear spoiler from a mazda MX6, greddy header, GP Medallion exhaust, tenxo r Intake, and I chromed the Valve Cover and what ever else I could polish with my dremel. I won first place in 1 car show, and I got rear ended in it and went under a toyota corolla while waiting for a light. After $7800 of fixing it I sold the car to some girl in south brooklyn for $5600. I sold all the parts seperately, including the rims and tires. I made $7000 with everything on that car. I loved that car
2001 Honda Civic Ex 5 speed Coupe. I didn't like this car as much as my 1994 civic. I thought my 94 was a much better car. It was also more reliable and built better. I had many complains with my 2001 civic. I had many recalls and I had to bring the car back to the dealer numerous times to get things fixed, including the rocking seat and the blown struts. I put 17 inch rims and tires on the car, a Xenon front bumper, cleared headlamps, carbon altezzas, and H emblem, and a 960 watt stereo system, which I sold to someone on 7th gen. I also won a first place trophy with my 7th gencivic. sold for $11,000
2001 Chevrolet Prizm. (Toyota Corolla clone) I bought this car after I traded in my civic at the chevy dealer. I got $11,000 for the civic and it was stock at the time. I sold all the aftermarket parts seperately. This car I paid $9700 for. It is the LSI model. It has full power, and 14 inch wheels, not hubcaps. It had 19k miles on it. The car was certified by chevy. It was a one owner car, in excellent condition. I bought the car in MAy of 2003 and the only thing it has needed is oil changes. I am 2,000 miles oveer too....
I have been busy. This car is actually a better riding car than my civic was, and I cannot believe I am saying this but it is more reliable than my civic was.

I'm 18, been driving for about 2 years.
'96 Dodge Neon - Stick...it wasn't a bad car for what it was, we still have it. I'd never buy another though
'03 Civic EX coupe - much better than the neon, but I want something faster and RWD.
