New Lexus
New Lexus
Sorry guys I didnt know where this post should fit but did any of you guys see the show "RIDES" last night? They featured the new Lexus IS430 its sweeeeetttt. My mom has IS300 and its not all that fast, about low 15' sec car or watever, but anyways the new IS430 looks exactly same except its trunk doesnt have those 2 small circles in middle anymore, no sunroof, also the motor will be V8 this year specs are like
V8 RWD
0-60 4.8 sec.
1/4 in mid 13's
I want to buy that for my next car.
Old specs were like
V6
0-60 6.8 sec
1/4 low 15s
they shaved like 2 secs. off thats pretty crazy and i heard its not gonna be that expens. the 300's are like starting 28 or so so Im assuming they might start around 32?

Is this a for sure production car then. because I know this car has been around for almost a year and a half or two years as a concept. Just wondering if they confirmed that on the show last night?

damn...they have been putting V8's in the IS300 for a long time. if i can find the link to it, i'll post one where they did it in germany. i believe they did the modification for a while to a lot of IS300 owners who could afford it.

Very nice. I hope the production models don't come with altezzas. Not that I can afford one but hey, I'm just saying.

hehe, it would be interesting to see what regular taillights would look like on the Lexus IS300(Toyota Altezza) But I don't think that is gonna happen. They are the trademark for those taillights.

You rock for pointing that out
I love it!!!!!!!!!!! I want one
The paint job isn't bad, very 1930s hot rod...even though it's not personally my taste. haha well i didn't mean to be an *** just that stuff always bothers me.
anyways it'd be going after the M5 more than the M3.
4 Doors, V8. It'd be intresting to see who would win out.

Wow... An S4 fighter... (Same size/class/4dr/V8) I like it! This might be Lexus' first high performance car. If they do race it I hope it does better than the current IS.
As a street car, it rocks.
