its 25 grand..... the non STI. You can boost the **** out of those too, not to mention they are 4 wheel drive. Also dodge considers the WRX not the SI civic as thier market goal of buyers

Ive had Jeeps, and my friends have had dodges, and chryslers, there is NO way I would ever buy one again. I dont care who great of a sport compact they are. They might be fast, but so were the Daytona and Shadow turbos of the 80s, but those were so uber-unreliable, that it didnt matter, you could throw some mods on a supra, or 323 GTX, or 300z, and drive them for a long time without problems. I belive this is the case with these cars as well, they are fast, but they are definately prone to breaking more than other brands of automobiles.
If you buy a new one you can get an extended warranty for 7 years or 100,000 miles. What turbo gives you that? All at a cost of $21,000. Civic's cost $17,000 and after a few mods you've spent $20,000 easy. And those mods mess up your warranty.
I would never buy a Neon because I am not a race boy anymore. I'm 28 years old now and have grown out of it. But if I was like most of you and was worried about power and modding all the time, I would buy the Neon without a second thought. You get a brand spankin new car that can run low 5's for $21,000!
