How much do You pay for your Civic?

Well, like the subject says, I would like to know how much each of you guys are paying, IF you guys are paying for your own cars. If your parents are paying and you know how much they pay, That would be fine too but they will probably pay way less since they have some sort of credit or what not. But if your parents do pay for it, please note that.

The reason for this thread is, I am 17 and going to college next year. I am hopefully planning to get a Civic LX Coupe manual. I am still not sure but my dad said he might put the down payment but I would have to make the payments so I would just like to have a ball park figure of how much it would cost.

Also please note the exact model and tranny and body style of your car. (any other info like additional packages/options would be great). Thanks in advance for the replies that are soon to come.

I got my 2004 Civic LX MT Sedan for $14,400 cash back in December. Around low/mid 16's out the door. I paid for half and my parents covered the other half for now. The dealership threw in floormats, first oil change, mudgards, and 2 tanks of gas. I got it from mike harvey's honda in Burlingame, CA If you go there ask for Jonney Chan and tell em Chris sent ya =D
BTW I got it in the magnesium metallic color and it looks great. New hotness =P

Let's see. I'm 22 and I purchased the car for dealer invoice. I got a 04 Civic EX Coupe, 5 speed. I think invoice was $15k. Then I rolled another $3k on top of that for my trade in (00 Grand Cherokee LTD). Got 2.9% APR for 5 years and I pay $340/mo.

$17,800 out the door (including tax, title, etc.), paid in cash so no monthly payments.

That was for a Brand new 2002 EX Coupe Automatic, options were floor mats, sunroof reflector thing, mudgaurds.

People finance Civics??? I can't even imagine nearly $500 a month, that's Accord coupe territory.

Paid 75% cash in November for our new 2004 EX coupe, be paid off within 2 months.

I bought my 2003 LX 4dr AT in Oct. 2002. MSRP was $16470 and I got it down to $13988, and out the door was about $15100. I was 18 and I co-signed with my mom and borrowed $10000 and the APR was 7.5%. My monthly payment was $201.

i was talkin to my dad and he said something about borrowing $10,000 and co-signing. That's great!

What are some bargaining tips and things that dealers will typically throw in for free if asked for?

I bought my 02 ex coupe in August of 02 with 6 miles on it, paid $17,000 for it, this after a $2000 down payment, and I pay $288 a month. Now as for insurance, lets not get started again on that topic.

Dealer invoice is $15,899 exact. We have the same car. There isn't a Honda dealer in this country that will drop destination charge on a new Civic, and most dealers will accept anywhere from $200-$500 over invoice, which is what we got. $17K out the door after taxes and tags...now completely paid for

Matrix3111: I am curious as to how a dealership handled aftermarket part installation?? I have worked at a Honda dealership and know they are VERY strict when it comes to pushing OEM parts and installing them. That is very odd that they would agree to install 17 inch wheels.
